Document observability hub (Collaboration documents)
The Document observability hub is in beta. Some functionalities may change or not work as expected, and the user interface may still evolve.
The Collaboration documents section in the Management Panel lets you monitor and debug the lifecycle of collaboration documents in an environment – their collaboration session and storage status, a chronological action history, save history, and downloadable snapshot debug bundles.
📖 For a full walkthrough of the documents list and the Collaboration history, Snapshots, and Storage tabs, read the Document observability hub guide.
The Document observability hub reports on collaboration document activity. It does not contain logs about failures in the infrastructure, database, or the application itself. To find those, visit the Logs and monitoring guide.
The Document observability hub is enabled by default. It is controlled by the ENABLE_OBSERVABILITY_HUB configuration option in your Collaboration Server On-Premises configuration. This is a server-wide option set once for the whole deployment – unlike some features, it is not toggled per environment. Set it to false to hide the Collaboration documents section.
Observability data (history, saves, and snapshot metadata) is retained for 14 days for the On-Premises variant. Older data is removed automatically and does not require any additional configuration.
