Filip Sobol is a Staff Engineer with over a decade of experience in the software industry. He has worked at companies of all sizes, from early-stage startups to large corporations, contributing to both backend and frontend development. He has also led engineering teams of up to a dozen people.

At CKEditor, Filip is part of the Platform Team, where he builds and maintains the tools and infrastructure that support the development of the editor. His current focus includes JavaScript, build tools, performance optimizations (both runtime and build size), documentation, and overall developer experience.

In recent years, Filip has focused on open-source development, contributing to and maintaining libraries used by thousands of developers. His efforts range from feature development and performance tuning to writing documentation and supporting the broader developer community.
