Please go over the following before starting a topic:
Documentation
Let's start with the obvious. This should be the first thing you check, but some don't, so here's a reminder to read the manuals!
Search the Forum
Do a simple search. The forum has been around for years. Chances are you're not the first to come across the issue. This is a technical forum so topics often deal with specific lines of code and error messages - easily searched. Alfonso even created an FAQ/How to in the forum.
Dev Site
The dev site includes years of ticket submissions and solutions. We have a very active ticket system with over 7100 tickets closed. There's a pretty good chance you'll find what you are looking for. You can even create your own tickets.
CKEditor API
The API will give you an idea of how CKEditor is structured and how you can modify it.
CKEditor FAQ
A good place to get answers to frequently asked questions, from Open Source rules to various configuration, features and support topics.
Google
Self explanatory. You will find a lot of results pointing you back to our forum and to Stackoverflow, so might as well bypass Google and go straight there.
Most of our replies involve doing the above for you because you didn't bother. If we find a thread that wasn't properly searched we will be... mildly miffed.
New user
Hy,
For new users like me is a helpful post.
Thanx
What if...
The bug reports we find for the bug we're experiencing are 4 years old and have been closed as fixed? :-/

If you can reproduce a bug in
If you can reproduce a bug in the latest plain-vanilla CKEditor release (you can try the demo or the nightly build), please be so kind as to create a new ticket on the Development site. You can refer to the old (fixed) ticket in the description of the issue. Do remember to include as many details as possible about your environment, clear reproduction steps etc. Thanks!

You should add a section that says you need three posts before posting and asking for help. Its quite irritating to someone who is looking for help.
Good point. Done.
Good point. Done.
The 3-post requirement was implemented this week. Sorry, but seeing so many single-post users bumping their own threads while not helping the guy below them got a bit irritating - especially since many have web development experience.

New to CKEditor
Reviewed documentation. Would be nice if more on CKEditor setting content in ASP.NET product (C#).
Thanks for your suggestion.
Thanks for your suggestion. So far the documentation for CKEditor for ASP.NET is hosted on our old documentation site: http://docs.cksource.com/CKEditor_3.x/Developers_Guide/ASP.NET

Before posting
Thanks for your information. Really i know more from the forum and how to done everything. thanks again.
Updating the Forum
While reading this thread, I noticed that I have to post twice before I can create a new post. However, upon futher reading, I now find that you set the limit to 3 postings. Why not amend the first post to be up to date rather than rely on somebody having to scroll down on the off chance of an update to this info?
New accounts & logging in
I just created a new account on this forum. However, rather than having to log in with some immediately forgettable random name that I just invented, could the log in process be changed to log in with my e-mail address (which I can remember)? The account name could still be used on posts etc.
Hi JohnPP,
Hi JohnPP,
thanks for your feedback. I modified the first post according to your suggestion, thanks for spotting that.
As for logging in, the login mechanism is a built-in Drupal functionality, so it's not really possible to change it.
You can, however, use the "Log in using social networks" function and just login with your Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or Yahoo! account. This option is available when you are not logged in and click the Log in/ Sign up link at the top of the page. Hope this helps!

Thanks for your suggestion.
Thanks for your suggestion. However, since we are going to replace our forums with StackOverflow-based support, this shouldn't really be an issue for much longer, so I doubt such change will be implemented here. Thanks anyway!
