Dear reader,
I'm migrating a webapp that uses FCKeditor (java version) from a MAC server to a Linux server.
A user uses ms Word to create text and than uses the import form word button to paste the content. This goes well in the old situation. When doing the exact same thing on the new server (fckeditor is a copy from the old server (actually everything is)), fckeditor tries to make the content w3c compliant i.e. " becomes &qout etc. This happens to the code:
Original
<p> <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="1" style="border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; background: white; border-left: medium none; border-bottom: medium none; border-collapse: collapse"> <tbody> <tr> <td valign="top" width="307" style="border-right: #333399 1pt solid; padding-right: 5.4pt; border-top: #333399 1pt solid; padding-left: 5.4pt; background: #d3e230; padding-bottom: 0cm; border-left: #333399 1pt solid; width: 230.4pt; padding-top: 0cm; border-bottom: #333399 1pt solid"> <div><strong><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; color: #333399; font-family: Verdana">Weekflits </span></strong></div> </td>
Re: webapp migration
Where do the \'es come from in front of the " ?
Re: webapp migration
I'm totally in the dark here.
Re: webapp migration
php_flag magic_quotes_gpc off
in your .htacces file. Or if you run your own server your php.ini or apache.conf.
