I have created a site that requires a CMS and am using FCKeditor 2.3.2 for the content. This site has had very few problems over the last two years, but one just popped up that has me baffled.
In the office that utilises the CMS, all computers work well with FCKeditor except one. All computers in the office are Mac laptops. If the one that has this issue creates a new article or edits an existing article, the whole site crashes. It displays EVERY article under a navigation topic at the top of the page, pushing the site header down to the bottom and THEN properly displays the selected article. The only way to fix it is for me to delete the article then re-enter it from my computer; someone else in the office can do the same on another computer.
I'd like to upgrade to the latest release (2.6.2 at this time) to see if that might fix it, but from what I've read in the documentation this will require a LOT of work.
Any ideas what might be causing this issue? Obviously only the one computer is screwing things up; but it doesn't matter what browser is being used. It errors in IE and FF. I have not suggested Safari because the last I heard FCKeditor does not work in Safari. Is this still the case?

Re: A very serious Mac issue
I don't think that upgrading from a previous version is a lot of work, unless you have modified to source files or are working with custom plugins, if you just changed the configuration file, then it should be quite easy.
Lastly, Safari as well as Opera are properly supported since 2.5
Re: A very serious Mac issue
Which makes me think that there's something on that one computer that is interfering with the form submit that doesn't exist on my computer or the other computers in the office. But what? Could a virus interfere with the submit? Could it be a "noisy" network connection that's causing this? (Hadn't thought to have her move to another network cable and see if it's still doing it.)
Unfortunately, the computer that has the issue belongs to the one person who is appointed to do MOST of the CMS work. I'd hate to tell the client that they need to get a new computer for her, but that's going to be my only recourse if I can't fix this.

CMS article content...
<html>
<head>
... rest of HTML ...
</html>
Re: A very serious Mac issue
No, nothing like that.
And the client just asked me a question that I don't know the answer to: Is it possible to use FCKeditor to remove image files that were uploaded via FCKeditor? I looked and do not see any way to remove files once they've been uploaded.
