using the data in the editor

Somehow I just can't manage to use the data in the editor to save it in a db. I want to use it in an existing form. So I can get the data in the editor but don't know how to save it to the db. What's the variable name or the textarea name for instance?

any help appreciated

whatever name you passed with the 'createfckeditor' is the form element to look for.
run a parse on the form as it is returned, so you can see the text you put in and check its paired input name
