target param in A HREF removes quotes?

Hello,

it seems the FCK editor automagically removes double-quotes from the target parameter in a A HREF tag.... how can i correct this, as Flash doesn't recognise the A href tag without quotes surrounding the params...

addition:
this behaviour is true for most of the "recognised" tag attributes..f.e. for a FONT tag the size attribute behaves exactly the same...

f.e.: <FONT SIZE="4">
is transformed into:
<FONT SIZE=4>

The Microsoft dhtml edit control that FCKEditor -- and any other editor that uses it as its basis (which is most of them) -- does this. Nothing can be done about it unless you write some sort of custom text parser that undoes the damage after the form post but prior to the db save. I'd love to see one, personally.

i thought the same, but we also use Ektron's eWebEditPro for some of our customers, and this component also seems to use the Microsoft dhtml edit control, but doesn't have this behaviour, ie it keeps the quotes around the html tag attributes, just as i would expect it....

Just set config.EnableXHTML = true in the fck_config.js file. The editor will automatically clean the output html when posting the form.

i have enabled XHTML support, it doesn't solve anything...when i enter a target in a href with quotes (both double or single) surrounding it, and switch from "source" to "WYSIWYG" and back, you can see the quotes dissapear at once..
