I have set the FCKEditor to 'BR' mode though the .js file. Now on Firfox/Chrome/Safari when the aspx page initialises, the editor somehow is populated with either a <br /> tag or with ;nsbp (in the source).
I have noticed the editor in source mode remains completely empty on Internet Explorer, which is what i need. Bit annoyed at having to use that rubbish browser but have no choice at the mo...
Now on IE, if the editor is empty and a postback happens on the page (either full or through an updatepanel), the editor populates itself with a <br /> tag, which is annoying!! I have googled as much as I could for an answer, whether it be a solution for IE or other browsers. All i want is plain text entered into my database with no <br, p> tags or any other useless html code...
Any thoughts/ideas/solutions would be highly appreciated and a huge relief....
