Hi
I'm currently building the styles selector with my site styles.
I use 2 different classes to style different types of links, and want to have these in the Styles selector.
But it appears that <a href > is not treated as an object and I can't apply just a style to that tag.
Is that true, and is there a reason for that (and/or a workaround)?
thanks

RE: styles - is A treated as an object?
When selecting a link, IE or Fx (don't remember which one) doesn't show the specified styles for link elements.
I had to use a workaround: make a style for the span element. Thiw wraps the selected link in span tags and applies the desireed class to it.
Working with a tags alone seems not possible.
RE: styles - is A treated as an object?
Here is my work around
1/ create a style called 'mylist'
and apply it to a <div> around the code selected by the user (change fckstyles.xml as follow)
<Style name="my list" element="div">
<Attribute name="class" value="mylist" />
</Style>
eg source will look like:
<div class="mystyle"><ul><li>[...]</li></lu></div>
2/ in your css
declare that all <ul> or <ol> (or in your case <a>) between a <div class="mylist"> will have this behaviour:
div.mystyle ul, div.mystyle ol {margin: 5px 0;list-style:none;list-style: lower-roman;}
This is working fine for me. Client is happy.
I hope this help
