spellchecker.pl truncates text input

If you enter a lot of text, such as:

Into the textarea and then do the spell check using spellchecker.pl, the data is truncated. It is sent in all its glory from spellchecker.html, but then for some reason spellchecker.pl can't get all of it. I verified that spellchecker.html is sending the data via 'post'. I'm not sure why this is happening. I thought you could send an unlimited amount of data this way. Any ideas?
