The server didn't send back a proper XML response. ????

click on the 'Insert an image' icon at the top of the editor

the 'Tiki image - Insert an image' dialogue box appears as expected

however, when I click on the Browse Server button, a new window opens, and immediately the following error message appears:

The server didn't send back a proper XML response. Please contact your system administrator.

XML request error: Internal Server Error (500)

Having exactly the same problem. Any luck finding out what it is? All the other posts on this site about it are confusing and don't really give a clear solution.

Except my error is: XML Request Error: OK (200)

Using FCKEditor 2.6.3 and CKFinder 1.2.3
and with Drupal FCKeditor module.
