quick help

Hi,

I need to find out how to take my current "upload image" path from /images/stories, to load everytime as this:
http://www.mysite.com/images/stories

I'm not much of a coder, but I can learn and when put in the right direction I'll usually figure it out. I simply don't know how to take this default image path in the pop-up image load window and turn it into a more full path.
