paste text from word 2007

So when i paste the text from word 2007 into the fck editor i get like a buch of code from word like xml schemas, encodings, some weird and long codes...and i don't need that, i would like to keep the formating but not like thw word codes for every file.
please help? and thank you

Usually Word has some preferences about the kind of HTML code that it does generate, if you play with them you should be able to get what you want.

so there is no way to remove those when pasting to fck, or when submiting it with php....i have to remove thosse in word?

Yes, you can write your clean up in javascript or PHP (in fact the PHP processing is better usually, and there are some PHP sanitizers out there). But if you fix the settings of your MS Word then the clean up will be easier.

You could also just copy/paste your word doc text into an empty notepad, and again from notepad do a C/P into the editor. This way you'll not get any weird formatting from from Word. However you need to apply bold tags etc again..

For some reason pasting from Word 2003 with the "Paste from Word" button worked much better than with pasting from Word 2007 nowadays. Does anyone know if there is update for the that plug in available?
