opening an html file with the editor?

Hey guys

i'm looking at this editor as a solution for my mum who hasn't a clue about html. Can i design my pages, upload them to teh server and then my mum use the fckeditor to open the html files JUST to change some text here and there? that's all she needs to do.

I can't find an "open file" option and also i tried typing someting into it and saving it but i got an error message at the bottom of IE
