OK, i think i undertand the use of FCKEditor now,

am i right in thinking that i could create my own cushycms type of sytem?
to offer my clients a way of editing static html pages, like a News or Events page that changes regularly?

altho Adobe are now offering InContext i'd rather offer my own free sytem for clients to make basic edits to their sites.

There are already too many open source CMS out there. Unless you are a great coder I would forget about creating a new one.
