mysql link issue

hello, hoping somone can help me, i had my own mysql iis server running this site and it all worked fine.
since moving to 1&1 it now has the issue, i contacted them and they hav no ida what the problem is.
they said if its something on the server they need to enable i can ring them up and ask them to enable it.
the problem is when adding a image or any type of link it it displays the code fine in source view, as soon as i click update button, which adds it to the db i get this in the database:

as you can see it changes it to that, from:
