Hello,
I have installed the spell checking, and I needed to be able to define dynamically which language is to be checked. So what I did was: add a dropdown list with language options next to the FCKEditor, change spellChecker.js and add a language parameter to the checker:
this.spellCheckScript = 'server-scripts/spellchecker.php?spellLang='+window.top.opener.top.document.noticia.idioma.value;
(within spellchecker.php I then put
$lang = $_GET['spellLang'];
$aspell_opts = "-a --lang=$lang --encoding=utf-8 -H"; // by FredCK)
This works fine in firefox, but gives an error in Internet Explorer: "'windows.top.opener.top' is null or is not an object.".
windows.top refers to the opened dialog, opener refers to the screen that opened it (where fckeditor is), and that's where I have my language variable. Has anybody any clue why IE doesn't accept it? How to work around it?
Cheers, Bo
