menu bars not appearing

Hi,

I'm probably missing something basic but I've just installed the CKEditor on my site and in all the sample files I just get a normal text box and submit buttons but no skin and no menus at all. As well the text box is just displaying the straight HTML, it's not rendering it like a WYSIWYG.
