I have a sorta complicated interface with 5 FCKeditors on it. Some of the functionality requires that I count the words in, or alter the contents of, the FCK editors, but it seems I cannot make jQuery aware of the elements inside the iframe? Is there a workaround or tutorial on this?
there is a block like
entity= FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance($(this).children("textarea, input").attr("id")) ;
if ( entity)
{
$(this).children("textarea, input").val(entity.EditorDocument.body.innerHTML);
}
Am I right in thinking that this puts the contents of the editor into a textarea located elsewhere, which i could then act on? I'm new to this stuff..
