Hi, I'm trying to compile a list of FF 106 bugs. Maybe if we can confirm the existence of the said bugs in one convenient location, the programmers will have an easier time fixing them (note that I've also raised those in the 'bugs' SF section).
So far I've spotted:
- image width and height textbox not having any effect on the image in the 'image property' menu.
- CTRL+a and 'select all' button in the toolbar sending the cursor to first line first char in the Iframe rather than selecting all'.
- basehref config element completly ignored in both the editor and all the dialog boxes, including the spell checker (horrible workaround is to use server side processing to force the basehref in fckblank.php/cfm/asp)
- moving to a different page and then back to a page containing the editor leads to the editor not re-loading as expected (user has to refresh the page)
That's it so far... I've tested only around a thrid of the app. Any other you can think of?
Stephan

RE: list of known FF106 bugs
- clicking the anchor icon twice leads to a js error ('undefined' message on a white background displayed)
- anchors a useless, as the link menu is not able to find any in a page (no matter how many you have defined) in both ie and ff
- the content of the select drop down boxes themselves are selectable, if you use the drop down twice, the drop down V (black triangle) is no longer usable. You have to remove the focus from the drop down before you can click it again.
- delinking doesn't work if clicked within link (the whole exact link must be clicked)
More to come...
RE: list of known FF106 bugs
- the delinker behaviour is correct.
RE: list of known FF106 bugs
- the "image width and height textbox not having any effect on the image in the 'image property' menu." is only occuring when resizing the image using the images handles first.
RE: list of known FF106 bugs
Hi, see my posts on https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php ... _id=257180
for notes on CTRL-A, no-editing, and a few other problems as I think they are all related. Cheers! DC

RE: list of known FF106 bugs
thanks stephan. my mediocre js skills and my high gravity beer and buds enthusiasm puts this beyond me and it will have to just get fixed in updates. i spend most of my time in php and i am an old burned out hippie programmer who grew up writing my code on punch cards and if you throw in all of the brain damage from having a really great time from 1967 till ... uh... what year is it now??? ... oh yeah 2005 ... i'm probably down to 1 and a half working neurons ... but i suppose my fingers will twitch on this keyboard until those neurons burn out completely and i become still hahaha just because i am funny don't think i am kidding ... some of the funniest stuff is absolutely true .... sorry i got off topic.... must beeeee theeeee BREWSKIES ... sorry, it was a brain fart... i knew i couldn't figure it out with my time and 1.5 braincells so i popped the cork on that big magnum of DOM!!!
RE: list of known FF106 bugs
Personally i am going to wait for the next version of FCKeditor because i cant put on my site without the basehref function.
I shall appreciate a lot that Fredck can indicate to us when the next version and if this bugs will be corrected.
Thank you very much Fredck for this editor !!
RE: list of known FF106 bugs
- split cell context menu item in table does not work
- cell properties are not remembered if cell is empty
- international keyboard allows cursor to be placed in text but ignores it (instead it takes into account the small, hard to find arrows at the bottom left and right sides of the on-screen keyboard)
- international keyboard ignores the enter key when the text is sent back to the editor
