links created within editor do not work on mac

I've created a very basic html page using fckeditor, and have a hyperlink within the html. The code for this hyperlink is correct, yet when previewing the page in a mac firefox or safari browser the link does not work (not clickable). However, the links are clickable from PC just fine. Any ideas?
