leave my code structure alone!

when i pull data from the database to display in the editor, for some strange reason it seems to want to alter my code. it changes the formatting basically. the code still works and executes but i don't like code that doesn't look like how I write it (as i'm sure most programmers will attest )

is there any way to get the FCK editor to just leave the code alone? or does it need to modify it in order to display properly in the editor window?

example, it turns this:

style="border: 1px solid #BBB; border-right: 0px; background-color: #008EC1;"

That's a "no", but not (quite) for the reason you cite. The editor just feeds your HTML source to the browser. The browser then interprets it, and spits it back out to the editor when you go to save changes. So things like hex RGB get turned into RGB triplets (because the browser never represents RGB as hex internally), and your attribute order may change (based on the browser's JavaScript object attribute order), and you may get extra styles in your style attributes (because the browser automatically explicitly sets them), and your spacing might change (because the editor doesn't remember your indent style).
