i have written a custom image browser based on the pictures my users have uploaded through the website(seperate upload facility, no fck functionality involved).
I have disabled ALL file browsing and uploading facilites in fck.
A window pops up, prompting the user to choose from the available(uploaded) pictures. When he presses the OK button, i use insertHTML to insert the image to the editor.
On firefox everything works out ok.
But in IE, i get a javascript error when the window comes up:
getElementById() null or not an object
When i close the error window, the dialog works correctly.
So, everything works out correctly, selecting and inserting the image and all, but i get an error message in IE (despite the fact that it does work).
A little bit of searching on the forums suggested that an incorrectly formatted fckconfig.js (missing a colon or something) could cause problems like this, but the file is 100% correct.
That's all,
Jimmy

RE: javascript Custom image browser (plugin)
When adding the image preview functionality, i used a javascript:preview() link,
that i had included in my OWN .js file, included from the site root.
That is apparently NOT good. I deleted the function and added it inside my plugin and verything works now.
