This actually relates to some other topics I've posted but I figured this one deserves another subject heading.
I'm using the liferay portal as a container for my editing portlet which generates the fckeditor.
The liferay portal uses the jQuery library which is fantastic because it makes life much simpler.
For the most part my editor works great in IE but not in firefox.
I think, and I reiterate "I THINK", that the editor's onload events are being overshadowed by jQuery's
jQuery(document).ready()
function which is causing the editor not to show up in firefox and do some wierd things with the FCK_Panels.
Does anyone know a way around this so that I can use the jQuery library (and liferay) with the fckeditor?
Or if anything else, can anyone confirm or deny this new theory of mine?
Thanks for the help.
