Hi, I want to provide users with the facility to create links to existing articles within our system. All the articles have the same url except they have a unique ID.
eg http://server.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseactio ... art&artid=<article ID number>
Is it possible to modify the existing link types in the link tool or am I restricted to URL, Anchor & eMail?
Ideally I want to create an additional link type of "Article" which automatically enters the main part of the url, "http://server.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=displayart&artid=", with a single text box to allow the user to enter the article ID number.
Is this possible, if so how? I can't find anything in the user docs. If not is there any other way to provide this functionality?
For info the site is coldfusion, running FCK V2.2
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Is it possible to modify Link tool?
You can try to use some existing code or write it on your own.
Re: Is it possible to modify Link tool?
Thanks, but some pointers would help.
As I said, I can't find anything in the documentation that helps me get started.
Re: Is it possible to modify Link tool?
I just finished doing it, not a lot of examples out there but it's probably because it all depends on what you want to do.
Basically you'll want to edit the fck_link.html and the fck_link.js files to your needs.
This came in handy too:
