images path in emails

when I insert an image in a message composed with FCKeditor it's sent with the img src tag like src="/userfiles/imagename.jpg", so obviously recipients can't see the image

what should I change to have FCK editor store the message with the full image path? (I mean http://www.domain.com/path/to/the/image.jpg)

is there a way to have FCK edtior put there the full path without specifying it while adding the image?
