I've started to translate the menus and dialogs for our project to german. All wents fine, but when we come to the fck_contextmenu.js file, there is no chance to get special chars (i.e. german umlauts) to use in the dialogs.
In the file fck_toolbaritems.js, i can convert german umlauts to their charref encoding ( a la & auml; ), which will then be displayed correctly. But the context menu kills the ampersand, so we got Einfuuml;gen instead of Einf& uuml;gen.
Does anyone here have any clues how to use special chars in the context menu? Maybe by escaping the ampersand?
And: Is there a need for i18ed menus and dialogs, so you can call fckeditor with lang = "FR" and got french dialogs and menus? This could be done by transferring the menu labels in fck_toolbaritems.js and fck_contextmenu.js to a "locale" .js for each language and parsing them.
Anyway, very cool editor.
