how to save for future viewing?

i am a new user.

i have everything installed and configured correctly. the sample will pass my edited test as it should.

my question is, how do i get it to actually save to a page? once i close the browser and reopen the result page is blank and the editor page goes back to the original sample text.

so how do i get the result page to show the saved results after the browser has been closed and how do i get the editor to show the updated text to be changed again?

i'm using php.
