how i configure the FCKeditor?

i download the FCKeditor zip file to my computer
how i configure it
do i need to put it in the inetpub/wwwroot directory
what is the stating file? etc'

I wish the installation instructions were more detailed. After I uploaded the Editor to my domain in a subdirectory,
1- which files do I need to modify for the new path? What variable?
2- I changed the directory name to Forum/Editor instead of Forum/FCKEdtor. Which files do I need to change? what line do I overwrite?
3- Or does the directory has to be named FCKEditor?
4- There are so many file if would help to know which ones are involved here.
