I am new in FCKeditor.
I want to create a form to allow user to send HTML email. However, it is not able to send image.
I do it as follows:
A user can put the code, like '<img src="http://xxxx.com/my_image.jpg"> in the text area; it is able to display the image in the fckeditor directly, however there is no image display in the email.
I wonder is it possible to send image in this way??
Thanks for any helps!!

Re: how to display image in HTML email
Thanks for your reply!
As you said there should be a notification to be displayed, such as Display images below. However, I dont get any notifications if i send email in this way.
Besides, the image in the email content will be changed to "cid:XXXXXXX" when i right-click the properties of the "no shown" picture.
So, I think there are some problems or somethings that i miss to set.
Re: how to display image in HTML email
When email clients, such as Outlook Express, embed images into outgoing mail, they use content identifiers (cid) to locate the image within email. Messages created this way do not trigger the security warning because they don't generate outgoing HTTP requests.
FCKeditor is just an online HTML editor and cannot create multipart email messages without additional server-side support. That is, some code on the server side would have to parse HTML and convert it to a maltipart email message, retrieve images from the server and replace all <img> tags with matching cid references.

Thanks for your reply!
I use phpmailer which replaces <img> tag to cid reference.
I know how to solve this problem. Originally, i use a link to point to my image, such as '<img src="http://xxxx.com/my_image.jpg">'. And now i replace this link with a relative path <img src="my_image.jpg"> and upload the picture to the same server. Hence it can display the image now!
