how to change file size limit for upload ?

this depends on what web server and programming language you are using. Please see your web server's documentation - it has nothing to do with FCKeditor.

For example, the setting for PHP is contained in /etc/php.ini, on the line that says "upload_max_filesize"

i'm having the same problem
i can't upload files bigger then 2mb.

i have this php ini file in my server:

memory_limit = 128M
upload_max_filesize = 10M
post_max_size = 20M

and on config.php i have:

$config['ResourceType'][] = Array(
      'name' => 'Files',            // Single quotes not allowed
      'url' => $baseUrl . 'file',
      'directory' => $baseDir . 'file',
      'maxSize' => "10M",

What can be wrong?

This is purely a webserver/PHP issue not a CKEditor issue.

humm... i have changed the php-ini with the info that i told a few lines before. it's not that kind of changes that needs to be done?

Are you able to reproduce the issue in an isolated php page?

I think you use the version that don't have the property to change..Try to use the latest version..I will try this..I will post my result later.
