i've been trying to track this down and i have yet to see a definitive answer or fix for this, and i'm getting the impression that it's "just one of those things."
i'm using fckeditor in drupal, through firefox 3.0.5.
whenever i set the editor to Source mode and put in something like this:
the editor converts it to this:
i don't want this. i want the code i wrote, free of "interpretation."
what gives? is there any way around this or do i need to make a decision about whether to use fckeditor at all in my production context?

Re: firefox introduces mozilla garbage to inline styles
Sorry I can't give you any information on how to fix it.
Re: firefox introduces mozilla garbage to inline styles
i note that tinymce doesn't do this.
Re: firefox introduces mozilla garbage to inline styles
Relying on the browser to do some work provides a number of advantages. Code is automatically corrected for syntax. It's easier to manipulate items or groups of items (e.g. tables) using the DOM. The DOM provides a standard and pre-defined set of object-oriented access and manipulation functions with which to mangle documents.
