Hi,
Having a hard time with this one! There is an file upload error with FCK editor...
Basically, when uploading files from within 'Image', 'Flash' or 'Link' dialogs, they are uploaded into the root of the specified upload folder, rather than the sub folders allocated for the different file types.
This is a recognised error, you can read how to fix it in PHP here:
http://wiki.fckeditor.net/In-dialog_fil ... 8upload%29
I would like to know how to fix this error in .NET
Please can anyone help?
Thanks - Alex

RE: file upload error with FCK - not me!
Thanks a lot people!
RE: file upload error with FCK - not me!
maybe other people don't code in .NET, which is what your question was specifically about.
would twenty answers saying "I don't know - I code in Perl/PHP/ASP" be better?
ranting about it won't get your question answered.
Just FYI - I don't know the answer - I'm a PHP developer and don't care about .NET

dobogetsafix, did you try and port the fix to .NET. If not I suggest to try and start there.
The tip of sirenkimmie leads to a HOWTO of mine that instructs how to do just the opposite (single or configurable upload folders), so that probably won't help you.
Good luck.
And please, when you found out, post it here so others won't have the frustration you're feeling.

I wasn't having much luck getting a solution to my problem either.I think because so many people want it to do different things. I can tell you that I used the php connector and this is what solved it for me, I don't know if .net has the same type of connector - but maybe this will help point you in the right direction:

Thanks for your post Saul11 & SirenKimmie, much more like help... I will of course post a solution when I find one.
