editing div width "float"

editing div width "float"

Is it possible to disable the "feature" that prevent us from selecting text with the mouse in a div that uses the float attribute? It's a little annoying. We can't add a link on a text in divs, except if we select the text with the "shift" key + "arrows"... I don't really care if I lost the possibility to move the div around.

How did you get the div to move around?
This only works in FF as far as I know.

Can you move it around to anywhere you want?
Because I can't, I can only move it to places where there's text already.
In FF I can't move it around at all.
