I am using FCKeditor with ASP to edit documents in a knowledgebase. When browsing for images, I want to display only the images for that particular document. I can kind of do this with a session variable. In the page that loads FCKeditor I put a line that sets the document ID number to Session("FilePath") and then in config.asp I changed the line:
ConfigUserFilesPath = "/UserFiles/" & Session("FilePath")
The problem is that if you edit more than one document at a time, the session variable gets set the most recently opened document and then the previous document will display the wrong images when you browse.
I've tried changing the code that loads the FCKeditor to include a DocID parameter.
oFCKeditor.DocID = sDocumentID
I can then go into fckeditor.asp and:
Dim sDocID
Public Property Let DocID( DocumentIDValue )
sDocID = DocumentIDValue
End Property
That bit of code will set the sDocID variable to the document ID number, but isn't carrying over to config.asp where I try to use the line:
ConfigUserFilesPath = "/UserFiles/" & sDocID
In config.asp, sDocID is blank. And maybe I'd just have the same problem anyway. I don't really know what I'm doing here. FCKeditor is too complicated for me to figure out. I don't think there's really any connection between the code that draws the FCKeditor box and the code that loads the file browser.
