I was wondering if it is possible to choose the language in which you check the spelling depending on the language you are typing.
Also in Aspell, is there a way to add words to the dictionary that are not already?
Thanks,

RE: choose language check spell Aspell
I hope you are writing about fckeditor 2 and that you want the aspell spellchecker to check the spelling of your text using the language you set the editor to.
First browse to the spellerpagers folder which I suppose is:
editor/dialog/fck_spellerpages/spellerpages/
... and edit ... spellChecker.js ... and on top of the page or after the //// file description //// add:
var oEditorxxx = window.parent.InnerDialogLoaded() ;
var langxxx = oEditorxxx.FCKConfig;
... and inside the ... function spellChecker( textObject ) ... find the line that reads:
this.spellCheckScript = 'server-scripts/spellchecker.php';
... and modify it so that it reads:
this.spellCheckScript = 'server-scripts/spellchecker.php?langx=' + langxxx.DefaultLanguage;
... the go into the directoty ... server-scripts/ ... and edit ... spellchecker.php ... and find the line that reads:
$lang = 'en_US';
and modify it so that it reads:
$lang = $langx;
... and make sure
$aspell_opts = "-a --lang=$lang --encoding=utf-8 -H";
... or the other lines mentioned above are not commented out. Of course the javascript and php variables can be renamed to whatever you want as long as they give you the same result.

I hope that helps.
