change file browser directory?

In the link browser, it limits you to browsing in the User Files directory. I am using FCKeditor on an internal site and would like to be able to link to documents on a Windows server without having to upload these files and maintain separate copies (one on the Windows server, one in the upload directory). Can I customize the FCKeditor so the default directory for the file browser is my windows server?
