I've been testing this editor for the last week or so, and one of the things I would love to be able to do is capture the "onkeypress" event of the textarea. I jus can't seem to get it to work.
"Why?" you ask? Because I would like to replace keycode 13 (carriage return) with the shift+CR value.
... again .. you ask "Why?". Well, it's because I don't want the texteditor to use the <p></p> tags. on saving the data to the DB in ASP, I replace those with <BR> accordingly and that works wonders, but I would like this to be integrated into the editor instead so I don't need to do this extra step.
Of course, if anyone here or a developer could tell me what file I could modify to do a client-side value replace directly through the editor, that would be great too, cus I can't find one.
Now, I know many of you are against "The Evil Empire" but this is the language the company I work for has chosen and so here I am, asking for help even though I may be held in contempt .
Hope you can help (this is a great tool)
