can't get fckedit working

I cant seem to figure out how to setup and use fckedit. Ive tried including it under my webserver root(www) directory and opening http://127.0.0.1/fckedit/fckeditor.asp but get a blank page. Im probably doing something wrong or missing something. Any suggestions? I've read other posint and have tried changining FCKeditorBasePath in fckeditor.php without success. I will continue trying and post a reply if Im successful.

Im beginning to develop php stuff using my xp laptop as both server and client. Im have some opensource php stuff, such as TestLink( http://testlink.sourceforge.net ) running under FoxServ( http://www.foxserv.net ).

you don't use fckeditor.asp directly. aren't there examples of how to use it in the "examples" or "samples" folder or something. anyway, what those examples do is get the text from a database or a file and use fckeditor.asp to fling out some html. yeh?
Also, i think the paths are all set to /FCKeditor rather than /fckeditor. watch out, could be important!

How do I prepare a test.html to work with the editor? How can I implemend the editor in a website ??? I really don't know...
