I would also greatly appreciate this feature!

I suppose that most of these autoparsed links will point to external websites - and it certainly makes sense to configure that to add a target=_blank!

absolutely ideal would be if only links to external domains (<> current domain) get that target=_blank!

any ideas where to look for that auto-parsing-function?
