about the multiple textarea

Hello everyone,

I'm building a website which will have more than 100 textareas per page, I was wondering if it's possible to use only one fckeditor toolbar (without its edit area) to handle all those textareas in that page? For example, I will make the fckeditor toolbar be a float on the top of page, users can then use that toolbar to edit contents in any textares they like. Please help, many thanks ^_^

Check the sample files, there is one that shows how to do it (but with only 2 areas)

Thanks Alfonso, the sample 10 is really helpful. Now I got one new problem, In sample 10, it used single instance for multiple textarea (it's using javascript). How to do that in asp? Must I creat multiple instances in asp? I'm currently stuck on var oFCKeditor = new FCKeditor( 'FCKeditor_1' )

Sorry I didn't see the FCKeditor_2 in sample 10. OK, so the sample 10 used the multiple instance as well. Is it possible to use only one editor instance through the whole page (for multiple textareas)?

Yes you can do it using javascript (as it has to be processed at the client) using the API SetHTML and GetXHTML functions. Look at sample 8 to learn its use.
Next version will include another sample of this usage.
