Xml Editing?

Is it possible to edit XML files with XSLT or just plain XML files with FCKeditor? Whenever I try editing such a file (.xml), it tries to make it an html file, placing divs and whatnot in random places withen diffrent nodes. If there is a way to edit XML files, can someone please say how?

FCKeditor is only a HTML editor.

Perhaps a better question to ask is this: does anyone know of how to have FCKeditor work with Asp.Net, and uses XML as a data store, similar to the functionality at dotnetblogengine.com (BlogEnigne.Net - which uses tinymce)?
