XML/MathML use in edit area?

I use a lot of XML, specifically MathML in FCKeditor, and when I switch from source to WYSIWG mode, the MathML becomes corrupted, specifically, the mathml beginning and end tags are moved together and other tags inside these tags are likewise relocated.

Any config issues that can help me with this?

I think that this is doable by adding another "FCKConfig.ProtectedSource.Add rules" to fckconfig.js.
Maybe something like that?

FCKConfig.ProtectedSource.Add( /<math[\s\S]*?<\/math>/g ) ;
