Hi all,
First of all, compliments to the developers. What a great editor. I have used it already for a few years with little problems and was even able to make some customizations.
Secondly, my problem with V2 RC3. Actually it is a very strange problem. I have two accounts with one hostingprovider. Both accounts are completely similar with hard- and software (win 2003, IIS). My website is build with ASP and Mysql.
On the first account the editor work great, no problem at all. On the second however, I can't get rid of the "XML request error: internal server error (500)". I browsed this forum for solutions and tried every possible solution given (e.g. permissions)...nothing works.
All the default directories are present: UserFiles, Image, File, Media, Flash. They all have Read, Write permission. The editor stays in the directory: fckeditor and there the read, write permissions are set too.
I am completely baffled about how it possible that it works on one account and doesn't work on the second completely similar account.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards and keep up the good work.

Hopefully there is someone who can help me with this.

RE: XML error 500, stays there doesn't go away
This temp_url looks like this: sitexxx.hostingprovider.com/clientsname/
the part after the first "/" creates the problem. FCK editor looks for a UserFiles-dir in "sitexxx.hostingprovider.com", but has to look for this dir in sitexxx.hostingprovider.com/clientsname/
I have modified the "fckconfig.js" with a ServerPath=/clientsname/UserFiles/"
and now it is working fine.
I hope this helps others too.
