XML Error 500 with File Browser and PHP

I've configured the file browser and image uploading. Uploading works but the file browser returns an Internal Server Error. It does this on the test page as well. Ethereal ensures it is going after the correct path. All folders related to FCKeditor and uploads from it are chmodded to 777. All help is deeply appreciated. : )

I think the problem IS the 777. PHP doesn't run with 777 and that is where the 500 error is coming from. You can test this by chmoding another PHP file to 777.
After I changed the file browser files to 644, it ran great.
