Wrong Year after posting form with FCKEditor

I'm building a ASP form in wich I include several textboxes and the FCKEditor field. One of those textboxes assumes the value of current date given by the server and displays the correct value. After clicking the Submit button and posting the form info to a database, I get a incorrect year in the date field, although the day and month are correct. Can FCKEditor be the cause of this?

I've also noticed that text bellow the FCKEditor field is shown with incorrect characters (I use portuguese characters). Can I somehow change the FCKEditor config to portuguese characters? (I've already changed the language).
