I know that for any machine with Windows 2000 and Office 2000, the DHTML Edit Control is set to "Install on First Use", and will therefore prompt the client to provide the installation Cd.
This occurs whether or not the dhtmled.cab file is included, so I'm not sure what purpose this file serves.
I'm looking for some technique to determine wheter or not a client has the DHTML control registered, and appropriately display the editor or a textarea. Does anyone know if this is possible, as to avoid this popup on loading the editor?
Thank You,
..Neil
