I have search this forum for suggestions on how to get the text to wrap while typing in FCKeditor, but I don't see what I am looking for (maybe I missed it). Does anyone have any suggestions?
Using the CSS word-wrap: break-word property, I was able to disable the horizontal scrolling and to make the text wrap within the text area. I am using IE7.
The setup includes a CustomConfigurationsPath setting that points to a folder outside of the root FCKEditor folder for my customized configuration settings and a custom EditorAreaCSS file setting.
Here is my setting for the customizations file: myFCKEditor.Config["CustomConfigurationsPath"] = "/MyFCKEditorSettings/MyCustomConfig.js"
MyCustomConfig.js has the setting for the customized CSS file: FCKConfig.EditorAreaCSS = '/MyFCKEditorSettings/MyCustomEditorArea.css' ;
Inside the CSS file I added the following line to the body element: word-wrap:break-word;
The CSS file was a complete copy of the original fck_editorarea.css with the addition of the one line mentioned above.
RE: Word Wrap on the Text Box
Thanks,
