What language is FCKEditor written in?

Hi there,

I've had a look around the different pages for FCKEditor but I can't find a mention of what language the 'lightweight' component is written in. We're looking for a Javascript only solution (no ActiveX or anything like that), can anyone tell me what FCKEd is written in (ignoring the back-end server side stuff)?
