What happens if a user's browser isn't compatable with FCKeditor and they can't show it? Does it automatically make a normal textarea with the specified name?
I'm using PHP for mine. Is there some way I can check to see that the FCKeditor was successfully created, and if not, use a normal textarea instead?

public boolean supportedUserAgent(String userAgent)

if (userAgent.startsWith("Mozilla/5.0") && userAgent.indexOf("AppleWebKit") == -1)
{
// Some recent Netscape or Firefox, and not Safari
return true;

I expect that FCKeditor will just leave your text area alone if you use ReplaceTextArea. If you treat the submitted data the same whether or not it is HTML then you don't need to care whether or not FCKeditor became active.
